For those that know me, I have never been an Apple or Microsoft fan and have always slanted towards Linux, GPL and the Free Software foundation.

All that aside, I will still stand back and pay homage to a great showman and visionary that was Steve Jobs!

I have never owned an iMac, iPod, IPhone or iPad – and possibly never will – Steve Jobs has, without a doubt – shaped our technological world.

Microsoft came up with one of the first ever hand held devices – but it was a failure. Steve Jobs did it with style and introduced them to the world!

They became status symbols and also a part of every day life… Google and Microsoft were then able to launch their versions on a piggy-back ride.

Not only that, but Steve Jobs had also shaped Pixar (Disney/Pixar), they produced the 1st ever fully CGI animated feature length film – ‘Toy Story’ and continued to produce many many more with competition from DreamWorks then Sony and many others.

Steve Jobs – Visionary and an Evolutionary Genius - You will be missed!
